Šibenik
Šibenik is a city in northern Dalmatia, located at the confluence of the Krka River with the Adriatic Sea. It is the capital of Šibenik-Knin County and the oldest indigenous Croatian city on the Adriatic coast.
It was mentioned for the first time in 1066 in the charter of King Petar Krešimir IV. That is why it is often called Krešimir's city. The city of Šibenik is often called the City of Children. Because it has hosted the famous International Children's Festival for almost 60 years.

National parks
"Krka" National Park encompasses an area of 109 km² of the most beautiful course of the Krka River and the lower course of the Čikola River. Which is adorned with natural beauty and a rich cultural and historical heritage. The second National Park "Kornati" is located in the Kornati archipelago with 152 islands. Due to the exceptional beauty of the landscape, the interesting geomorphology, the great indentation of the coastline, and the particularly rich biocenoses of the marine ecosystem, the group of 89 islands has been declared a national park.
We should also mention the nearby "Vransko jezero" Nature Park, the largest natural lake in Croatia, whose dominant feature is a special ornithological reserve with 256 species of birds.
